BCO Multisport will offer a summer triathlon training program for elementary, middle, and high school athletes this summer.

A kickoff meeting will be held on March 5th from 7pm – 8pm at HealthStyles Exercise Equipment, 2490 Arapahoe Ave in Boulder.
“We are excited about our new junior triathlon program,” says Rojas. “Andie Bernard brings a wealth of experience in triathlon coaching. This program will complement our existing running programs for kids.” BCO Multisport is an official USA Triathlon-registered club.
Three pre-season instructional workshops are scheduled for Saturday, March 22, Saturday April 26, and Saturday, May 24. Workshops are from 10am-11:30am, at Boulder locations to be announced. Training topics to be covered are running and swimming technique, strength and conditioning, pacing and race strategy. The cost per workshop is $25.
An independent ten-week junior summer training program starts on May 28th 2008 and ends on August 1st. Training will be held on Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday mornings and Wednesday afternoons. Athletes will also have opportunities to compete in track meets, road races, Boulder Reservoir’s Stroke and Stride Series, and the 5430 Kids Triathlon. Cost for this summer program is $295.
