Steve Gallegos scampered to a stellar master's 800-meter time against strong NCAA competition Saturday. Gallegos finished 6th with a 2:02 clocking. Dave Albo ran a strong 2:14.8 on the 6-lap-to-the-mile Air Force Academy oval.

AARP Sprint Triathlon
December 15, 2002

Duncan Rinehart captured a 6th place (10th overall) at the AARP short course triathlon on December 15th in Hawaii. His time was 1:13 for the 400Meter swim/13Mile bike/5K event.

"I was passed by two people in age group on the bike, said Rinehart. "But nobody passed me in the run! I was absolutely flying down the stretch. I dumped everything I had!"

Rinehard is training for the Winter Park Winter Triathlon in early February.
