Nell earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science at Northern Arizona University in 2010. She is a USATF Level 1 Certified Coach and a Certification Personal Trainer. She has coached for Ric Rojas for 4 years.
At Northern Arizona, she was a 3-time Big Sky Steeple Chase Champion and All-Conference/All-Regional in cross country. In 2013, Nell qualified as a ITU professional triathlete and aspires to earn points towards becoming a USA Olympian.

Ric Rojas received his BA from Harvard University in 1974 and an MBA from the University of Denver in 1983. While at Harvard, he set the three-mile record and qualified for 'All-Ivy' honors in track and cross country.
From 1977 to 1981, Rojas was ranked in the top 10 US Road Racers by Track and Field News. He has won countless events, including the 1979 Bolder-Boulder, the 1975 Bay-to-Breakers, the 1979 Lilac Bloomsday Run, and the 1981 Gasparilla Distance Classic 15K, setting a world record of 43:12. more...
