Welcome

Ric Rojas offers a comprehensive training program for adult endurance runners and sprinters. The foundation of the program is goal setting, training specificity, and coaching interactivity with the runner. Ric's training programs are proven to produce results for both distance runners and sprinters.

Coaching Philosophy

One of the hallmarks of his programs is his "under train-over perform" training philosophy. This simply means that you train no more than is necessary to achieve your goals. Ric makes every training step count.

Running Shorts Issue 16.5 – Tracking Bobby Fischer

We missed him last time around, but Bobby Fischer (not the Chess Grandmaster) has been running in races too!

On September 11th, Fischer ran in the 5k portion of the Chicago Half-Marathon and 5k.    Fischer took first place in his age group by 7:25! His overall time was 29:36.  Of the race, Fischer said “We RRR people are so used to competing or judging ourselves by national and international competitors that when we get in a "Local" race, we tend to be the Big Dogs. I was 443/1673 finishers (there were over 5000 in the race but they cut the timing off at a certain point).”

Way to go, Bobby! We can’t wait to see what you do next.
