Welcome

Ric Rojas offers a comprehensive training program for adult endurance runners and sprinters. The foundation of the program is goal setting, training specificity, and coaching interactivity with the runner. Ric's training programs are proven to produce results for both distance runners and sprinters.

Coaching Philosophy

One of the hallmarks of his programs is his "under train-over perform" training philosophy. This simply means that you train no more than is necessary to achieve your goals. Ric makes every training step count.

Running Shorts # 23: USATF National Junior Olympics

The USATF Cross Country National Junior Olympics were just this past weekend, on December 10th, in Myrtle Beach, SC. A number of our runners made it all the way here, and floored us all with their skill!

Chandler Reid and Charlie Rasmussen are both in the “Young Men” division of the USATF. These athletes ran the 5k course. Chandler Reid was the top athlete from Region 10 in this division, taking 5th place in 15:52.83. Not far behind was Charlie Rasmussen, who took 14th in 16:19.46!

The Young Women’s race was also on the 5k course. RRR athletes Rebecca “Bex” Hermann and Jessica Ousley competed in this division. Bex took 14th in the division with a time of 19:15.59, and Ousley took the course in 20:33.20, to finish in 35th.

We also took athlete Eli Snyder to the National competition. He ran in the Intermediate division, taking the 5k course in 17:39.83. He took 115th in the division.

Way to go, junior competitors! We hope to see you all run at the Simplot Games in February!
